The European rural world and sustainability
During the Valencia encounter in May 1999 on the European rural world and sustainability, the participants defined 5 axis of reflection : 1) the new contracts between agriculture and society ; 2) the alimentation, the quality and health ; 3) the sustainable production systems ; 4) Europe and other part of the world ; 5) Citizenship, power and democracy. For each of these topics, the authors have exposed in this article the problematic and raised the key questions for the debate.
