When working
for the general interest, it is difficult
to narrow the scope of the audience because
activities are eventually aimed at the benefit
of each and every human being. In our case,
the participative process used engages its
audience to the fullest extent, making our
audience mainly formed by direct or potential
participants in this collective initiative.
Rather than "work for", the Workgroup
on a Solidarity Socio-Economy "works
with":
Grassroots actors
who benefit from promoting their experiences,
learning from new ones, and understanding
the importance of their action and their
crucial contribution to the construction
of a new socio-economy vision.
Researchers
who make their theories and research progress
through debate and exchange with other intellectuals
coming from different backgrounds, as well
as contrasting theory with the reality of
everyday practice.
Committed citizens
who are able to overcome the feeling of
helplessness that arises when addressing
global, complex issues by sharing their
thinking with people from all over the world
and orientating it towards action.
Concerned Governments
which receive concrete proposals of socio-economic
transformation and a clear orientation to
their public action that has emerged directly
from civil society.
