Summary :

The discussion looks at responsible investment, based around three key concepts: a selection founded on social, ethical and environmental criteria of the values used as a basis for securities portfolios; solidarity-based investment, consisting of providing funds to people who don’t have access to traditional credit institutions, via community development banks, cooperative credit societies and credit funds or venture capital; responsible share-ownership, or the responsible exercise of the right to vote associated with the holding of corporate shares. These various aspects have been evoked in the discussion in order to better define the potential and limits of responsible investment in the promotion of the common good.
