Summary :

We provide a first assessment of the ability of social enterprises to meet their non economic goals. The study takes advantage of unique data on social enterprises and wellbeing available for Luxembourg. Results suggest that social enterprises contribute to wellbeing and alleviate the bad-being of most vulnerable people. Such evidence supports policies in favour of social enterprises to promote social integration among socially vulnerable people.
