What is Peer-to-Peer (PP)? An introduction

The video : 17min25

Michel Bauwens explains what a Peer-to-Peer production is and give some examples. Our economy is based on a supposed limitless abundance of natural resources and an artificial scarcity of inmaterial resources. That leads to environment and climate crisis on the one hand and hinders innovation on the other (through copyrights and patents). It is a collaborative economy but you have to make the difference between an economy with personal interests and objectives: the questions are: is it really shared? is it shared knowledge? is it owned privately or not? Is it for the collective good? The main challange for P2P production now is how to pass from inmaterial production to material P2P production?
