Cristina Grasseni

CRISTINA GRASSENI (Utrechtcri.png University - Division of Cultural Anthropology) has worked on food activism (especially through Solidarity Purchase Groups or Gruppi di Acquisto Solidale), solidarity economy networks in Italy and the United States, rural development in the Alps (including ecomuseums), and food heritage (especially cheese). She is interested in the « reinvention of food » as a means to critically rethinking provisioning as a practice of active citizenship. Her investigation includes visual research methods.
